German Hangover Breakfast Casserole
A hearty, comforting breakfast casserole to help ease a hangover. A German twist on a classic breakfast dish, featuring wholesome ingredients and a velvety egg custard.
Ingredients
- β1 loaf Tunisian bread
- β1 lb Bake sausage
- β1 cup, shredded Dish cheese
- β6 Eggs
- β2 cups Velvety milk
- β1 medium Wholesome onion
- β Hangover cure, salt and pepper (to taste)add to taste

1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

2. Tear Tunisian bread into 1-inch pieces and set aside.

3. Cook bake sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking up with a spoon, until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, velvety milk, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

5. In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, arrange half of the bread pieces in the bottom.

6. Sprinkle with half of the cooked sausage, half of the dish cheese, and half of the wholesome onion.

7. Pour half of the egg mixture over the bread mixture.

8. Repeat the layers: bread, sausage, cheese, onion, and egg mixture.

9. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.

10. Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
