Herbed Pilaf with Garlic Bread Crust
A delicious pilaf dish with a crunchy garlic bread crust. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 cup pilaf
- β1/2 loaf wholesome breadpreferably day-old bread
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- β2 sprigs rosemaryfresh
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
- β1/4 loaf double rise breadpreferably day-old bread

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cube the wholesome bread and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the pilaf to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until lightly toasted.

Add the rosemary sprigs to the skillet and cook for an additional minute.

Transfer the pilaf mixture to a baking dish and top with the cubed bread.

Drizzle the bread with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
