English Tofu Stir Fry
A simple and delicious English-inspired stir fry made with crispy tofu and fresh veggies.
Ingredients
- β1 block Tofuextra-firm, drained, and cubed
- β2 tablespoons Butterunsalted
- β1/2 cup English stir-fry saucestore-bought or homemade
- β2 medium Carrotspeeled and sliced
- β1 bunch Broccoliflorets only
- β1 cup English peasfresh or frozen
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1-inch piece Gingergrated
- β1 tablespoon Soy saucelow-sodium

Heat butter in a large pan over medium-high heat.

Add cubed tofu and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.

Add sliced carrots, broccoli, and English peas. Cook for 4-5 minutes, or until the veggies are tender.

In a small bowl, whisk together English stir-fry sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Pour the sauce over the veggies and stir to coat.

Return the cooked tofu to the pan and stir to combine with the sauce and veggies.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the tofu is coated.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.
