Korean-Style Shiso Leaf Wraps with Grilled Dosirak
A fusion dish combining the flavors of Korea with the freshness of shiso leaf. Grilled dosirak is wrapped in shiso leaves with spicy Korean chili flakes and served with a side of kimchi.
Ingredients
- β12-15 leaves Shiso leaves
- β4-6 pieces DosirakKorean-style rice cakes
- β1/4 cup Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)adjust to taste
- β2 tbsp Sesame oil
- β1 tbsp Soy sauce
- β1 tsp Brown sugar
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1/4 cup Green onionsthinly sliced

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Brush the dosirak with sesame oil and season with salt.

Grill the dosirak for 2-3 minutes per side, or until slightly charred.

Meanwhile, mix the Korean chili flakes, soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic in a small bowl.

Once the dosirak is cooked, brush the Korean chili flake mixture on top.

Wrap each piece of dosirak in a shiso leaf, securing with a toothpick if needed.
