Warmly Spiced Tequeos Tagine
A traditional Moroccan-inspired dish with a blend of warmly spiced tequeos and tangia, perfect for a cozy dinner.
Ingredients
- β1/2 cup TequeosChopped
- β1/2 cup TangiaChopped
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β1 medium OnionChopped
- β2 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1-inch piece GingerGrated
- β1 teaspoon CuminGround
- β1 teaspoon PaprikaSmoked
- β1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepperOptional
- β1/2 teaspoon Salt
- β1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and ginger and cook for another minute.

Add the chopped tequeos and tangia, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper.

Stir to combine and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
