Lamb Ssam Wrap
A spicy and flavorful Korean-inspired lamb wrap, perfect for a quick and easy meal.
Ingredients
- β1 pound lamb shoulderboneless and thinly sliced
- β4-6 wraps warmly toasted flour tortilladepending on size
- β1/4 cup spiced ssam saucesee below for recipe
- β1 head australian lettuceshredded
- β1/2 cup thinly sliced cucumberpeeled and seeded
- β1/2 cup thinly sliced carrotspeeled and grated
- β1/4 cup ssam wrap pickled daikonstore-bought or homemade

1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

2. Season the lamb with salt and pepper.

3. Grill the lamb for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

4. Let the lamb rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.

5. Warm the tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

6. Assemble the wraps by spreading a tablespoon of spiced ssam sauce on each tortilla, followed by a few slices of lamb, some shredded lettuce, cucumber, carrots, and pickled daikon.

8. To make spiced ssam sauce, combine 1/2 cup gochujang, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 cloves garlic minced, and 1 tablespoon grated ginger in a bowl. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before using.
