Norwegian Skillet Knaefla
A traditional Norwegian flatbread, perfect for serving with soups or stews. This skillet version is easy to make and delicious.
Ingredients

- ●1 teaspoon yeast
- ●1 cup warm wateraround 90°F
- ●1 cup mushroomsany variety
- ●2 tablespoons skillet oil

In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, and warm water. Mix until a sticky dough forms.

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.

Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

Heat a skillet over medium heat.

Add oil and sauté mushrooms until softened.

Divide dough into 2-3 equal pieces, depending on desired thickness.

Roll out each piece to a thin circle, about 1/8 inch thick.
