Spanish-Style Beans in Japanese Broth
A unique fusion of Spanish and Japanese flavors. This warm and comforting dish combines the traditional Spanish fabada beans with a rich Japanese broth.
Ingredients
- ●1 1/2 cups Fabada Asturiana Beans
- ●2 cups White Rice
- ●4 cups Warm Water
- ●2 tablespoons Spanish Olive Oil
- ●2 tablespoons Japanese Miso Paste
- ●1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- ●1/4 cup Green Onions
- ●2 inches Ginger
- ●1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
- ●to taste Salt

In a large pot, combine the warm water, miso paste, soy sauce, and sesame seeds. Whisk until the miso is dissolved.

Add the fabada beans to the pot and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes, or until the beans are tender.

While the beans are cooking, prepare the Japanese broth by sautéing the green onions and ginger in olive oil until softened.

Add the cooked beans to the Japanese broth and season with salt to taste.
