Warm Pork Knuckle Wrap
A hearty German-inspired wrap filled with warm pork knuckle and topped with a tangy slaw.
Ingredients

- ●1 WrapLarge flour tortilla
- ●1/2 cup SauerkrautCanned or homemade
- ●2 tbsp Brown Mustard
- ●1 tsp Caraway SeedsOptional

- ●1 tbsp Olive Oil
- ●1/2 cup OnionThinly sliced
- ●1/2 cup CarrotsThinly sliced

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Season the pork knuckle with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds (if using).

3. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe pan over medium-high heat. Sear the pork knuckle until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

4. Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and roast the pork knuckle for 20-25 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).

5. Meanwhile, cook the sliced onion and carrots in a pan over medium heat until tender, about 5-7 minutes.

6. Warm the wrap by wrapping it in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

7. Assemble the wrap by placing the sliced pork knuckle, sauerkraut, and cooked onion and carrots inside the warm wrap.

8. Drizzle with brown mustard and serve immediately.
