Turkish Doner Kebab
A traditional Turkish dish made with layers of lamb or beef stacked on a vertical spit and served in a crispy sesame-topped bun.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Lamb or Beef Thinly sliced
- β4-6 pita Warm Pita BreadFor serving
- β2 tablespoons Turkish Doner Kebab SpicesA blend of spices including cumin, coriander, and paprika

- βto taste Black Pepper
- β2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- β2 tablespoons Melted Butter
- β1/4 cup Chopped Fresh ParsleyFor garnish

In a small bowl, mix together the Turkish Doner Kebab Spices, salt, and black pepper.

Thread the lamb or beef slices onto the vertical spit or skewers.

Brush the meat with the melted butter and sprinkle with the spice mixture.

Cook the meat over medium-high heat until it's nicely charred and cooked through.

Meanwhile, toast the pita bread by wrapping it in foil and heating it in the oven for a few minutes.

Assemble the doner kebab by slicing the cooked meat into thin strips and serving it in the toasted pita bread with a squeeze of lemon juice and a sprinkle of parsley.
