Peruvian Beef Anticuchos
A classic Peruvian street food dish, these grilled beef skewers are marinated in a mixture of vinegar, soy sauce, and spices.
Ingredients
- β500g Beef (thinly sliced)Use skirt steak or flap meat
- β2 tbsp Peruvian vinegar
- β1 tbsp Soy sauce
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1 tsp Cumin
- β1/2 tsp Black pepper
- β1/4 tsp Salt
- β1 cup Warm water
- β2 tbsp Sugaroptional

In a large bowl, whisk together Peruvian vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, cumin, black pepper, and salt.

Add the sliced beef to the marinade and mix well to coat.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Thread the marinated beef onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

Brush the grill with warm water to prevent sticking.

Grill the anticuchos for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
