Traditional Irish Oatmeal

- β2 cups Water
- βpinch Salt
- β2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- β2 tablespoons Unsalted butter

In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil.

Add the steel-cut oats and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the oats have absorbed most of the liquid and have a creamy consistency.
