Greek Skillet Tofu
A gluten-free, flavorful dish made with crispy tofu, served with a side of warm, tangy sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 block Extra-firm tofuDrained and cut into 1-inch cubes
- β1/4 cup Greek yogurtFor marinating
- β2 tablespoons Lemon juiceFor marinating
- β2 cloves GarlicMinced
- β2 tablespoons Skillet oilVegetable or olive oil
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β1/4 cup Chopped fresh parsleyOptional garnish

1. In a shallow dish, whisk together yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and black pepper.

2. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and toss to coat.

3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Remove the tofu from the marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.

5. Add the tofu to the skillet and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.

6. Transfer the tofu to a plate and set aside.

7. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil.

8. Add any remaining marinade to the skillet and cook, stirring constantly, for 1-2 minutes.

9. Return the tofu to the skillet and stir to coat with the warm sauce.
