Greek Tiropita Recipe
A traditional Greek cheese pie made with feta cheese, ideal for breakfast or snack.
Ingredients
- β1 cup, crumbled Feta cheese
- β1 package Warm filo pastry
- β1/4 cup, chopped Fresh parsleyfor garnish
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- βfor egg wash 1 egg, beaten
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Thaw the filo pastry according to package instructions.

In a bowl, mix together the crumbled feta cheese and chopped parsley.

Place one sheet of filo pastry on a flat surface and brush with the beaten egg.

Place a quarter of the feta cheese mixture onto one half of the filo pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.

Fold the other half of the pastry over the cheese and press the edges to seal.

Repeat with the remaining filo pastry and feta cheese mixture.

Place the tiropitas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the tops with the remaining egg wash and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
