Warm German Breakfast Bowl
A hearty and comforting warm breakfast bowl filled with crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, and served with a side of spicy German sausage. Perfect for a cold morning.
Ingredients
- β6 slices Baconpreferably thick-cut
- β4 large Eggsfreshly cracked
- β2 sausages German Sausagepreferably Bratwurst or Weisswurst
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
- βa handful Chopped Fresh Parsley
- βa few slices Sliced German Pickles
- β4 buns Warm Bunspreferably pretzel buns

1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.

2. Add the sliced bacon to the skillet and cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side.

3. Remove the cooked bacon from the skillet and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.

4. In the same skillet, add the sliced German sausage and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side.

5. Remove the cooked sausage from the skillet and set aside with the bacon.

6. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and a pinch of salt and pepper.

7. Add the whisked eggs to the skillet and scramble until cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.

8. Warm the buns by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

9. Assemble the breakfast bowls by placing a few slices of bacon, a few slices of sausage, a scoop of scrambled eggs, and a sprinkle of chopped parsley on each bun.
