Italian Pilaf with Seed Crusted Veggies
A flavorful Italian pilaf dish loaded with seed crusted vegetables, a perfect side dish for any Italian meal.
Ingredients

- ●2 tbsp light olive oilfor sautéing
- ●6 slices canadian baconseed crusted
- ●2 tbsp poppy seedsfor seed crust
- ●1/4 cup seedadditional for garnish
- ●1 tsp saltto taste
- ●1 tsp pepperto taste

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cut the Canadian bacon into small pieces and place on a baking sheet for crusting.

Mix the poppy seeds and a pinch of salt and pepper on a plate.

Roll the Canadian bacon pieces in the seed mixture to coat.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the seed crusted Canadian bacon pieces and sear until golden brown.
