Sweet Algerian Date Tagine
A traditional Indian-inspired tagine dish using sweet and flavorful Algerian ingredients.
Ingredients

- β2 cups Velvety almond milkunsweetened
- β2 tbsp Sweet coconut oilmelted
- β2 tsp Tagine spice blend
- β1 tsp Ginger powder
- β1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder
- β1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
- β1/4 tsp Salt
- β2 tbsp Sugar
- β1/4 cup Fresh cilantrochopped

Heat the coconut oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the ginger powder, cinnamon powder, and cardamom powder, and cook for 1 minute.

Add the Algerian dates and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they start to soften.

Pour in the almond milk, adding the sugar and salt. Stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

Stir in the tagine spice blend and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
