Honey Velvety Chicken Fajitas
Quick and spicy fajitas with chicken, honey, and velvety sauce. Serve with tortillas, onions, and bell peppers.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breastscut into thin strips
- ●2 tablespoons honeyor to taste
- ●1 cup velvety sauceor homemade sauce
- ●1 large bell peppersany color, sliced
- ●1 large onionssliced
- ●1 teaspoon fajita seasoningor to taste
- ●4-6 tortillascorn or flour
- ●1 cup shredded cheeseoptional

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add remaining oil and sauté onions and bell peppers until tender, about 5 minutes.

Stir in fajita seasoning and cook for 1 minute.

Add velvety sauce and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes or until heated through.

Return chicken to the skillet and stir to coat with sauce.

Warm tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

Assemble fajitas by placing chicken and vegetables onto tortillas and top with cheese, if using.
