Pan-Seared Chicken with Lemon and Herbs
A French-inspired dish featuring a crispy-skinned chicken, infused with the bright flavors of lemon and herbs.
Ingredients
- β1 lb chicken breastboneless, skinless
- β2 lemonjuiced
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1/4 cup fresh thymechopped
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper
- β2 tbsp butter

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Rinse the chicken and pat dry with paper towels.

Season the chicken with salt and pepper.

Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the chicken is cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
