Colby and Jack Mousse Naan Bites
A fusion of Indian naan and French mousse, these bite-sized treats are perfect for any occasion. With the creaminess of mousse and the tanginess of Colby and Jack cheese, every bite is a delight.
Ingredients
- β250g velvety moussestore-bought or homemade
- β120g Australian colby cheeseshredded
- β120g jack cheeseshredded
- β150g all-purpose gluten-free flourfor naan dough
- β20ml ghee or vegetable oilfor brushing naan
- β1 tsp saltto taste
- β1/2 tsp black pepperto taste
- β20g chopped cilantrofor garnish

Preheat the oven to 200Β°C (400Β°F).

Combine the gluten-free flour and salt in a mixing bowl.

Gradually add the ghee or vegetable oil to the flour mixture and knead to form a smooth dough.

Divide the dough into 8-10 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.

Roll out each ball into a thin circle, about 6 inches in diameter.

Brush the edges of each naan with a little water and top with a dollop of velvety mousse.

Sprinkle shredded Colby and Jack cheese over the mousse.

Fold the naan in half to enclose the filling and press the edges to seal.

Place the naan bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
