German Quiche
A German-inspired quiche made with eggs, sautéed vegetables, and vegan sausage.
Ingredients
- ●1 package Vegan sausagesuch as Tofurky or Field Roast
- ●1 medium Onionschopped
- ●2 medium Bell pepperschopped
- ●1 cup Mushroomssliced
- ●6 Eggs
- ●1 1/2 cups Vegan milksuch as soy or almond milk
- ●1 cup Vegan cheese shredssuch as Daiya or Follow Your Heart
- ●1/2 teaspoon Salt
- ●1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the vegan sausage and slice it into thin strips.

Sauté the onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms in a little bit of oil until tender.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, vegan milk, and vegan cheese shreds.

Add the cooked sausage and vegetables to the egg mixture and stir to combine.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Pour the mixture into a pie crust and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set.
