Grilled Pork Nem (Vietnamese Spring Rolls)
A delicious and easy-to-make Vietnamese dish featuring grilled pork and crispy spring rolls. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound pork shoulder
- β20-24 wrappers spring roll wrappers
- β1 cup shredded carrots
- β1 cup shredded cabbage
- β1 cup grated daikon
- β2 tablespoons fish sauce
- β2 tablespoons lime juice
- βto taste black pepper

1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

2. In a large bowl, combine the pork shoulder, fish sauce, lime juice, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

3. Thread the pork mixture onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

4. Grill the pork skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.

5. Meanwhile, prepare the spring roll wrappers according to package instructions.

6. Fill each spring roll wrapper with a few pieces of the grilled pork, some shredded carrots, cabbage, and daikon.

7. Serve the grilled pork nem immediately, with your favorite dipping sauce.

8. To assemble the spring rolls, place a small amount of the filling in the center of a spring roll wrapper.

9. Fold the bottom half of the wrapper up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up the wrapper to form a tight cylinder.
