Middle Eastern Tequenos Skewers
A unique twist on traditional tequenos, these Middle Eastern skewers are crispy on the outside and deliciously savory on the inside.
Ingredients
- β1 package Tequenos
- β1 package Eastern Skewers
- β1 pound Lamb Koftacut into bite-sized pieces
- β1 package Crispy Pastry Doughthawed
- β1 cup Feta Cheesecrumbly
- β1/4 cup Fresh Parsleychopped
- β2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- β1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Cut the lamb kofta into bite-sized pieces and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Wrap each piece of lamb with a piece of crispy pastry dough, pressing the edges to seal.

Place the tequenos on the eastern skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

Place the skewers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the tops of the tequenos with lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the lamb is cooked through.
