Classic American Barramundi Casserole
A comforting and flavorful fish casserole that combines the sweetness of barramundi with the tanginess of cheese. It's perfect for a family dinner or a weekend meal.
Ingredients
- β4 (6 oz each) Barramundi filletsFresh or frozen, thawed
- β1 cup MilkLow-fat or whole
- β1 cup Shredded cheddar cheeseDivided
- β2 tbsp All-purpose flourTo thicken
- β2 tbsp Butter
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Black pepper
- β4 American cheese slices
- β Casserole dish (9x13 inch)

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Grease the casserole dish with butter.

Season the barramundi fillets with salt and black pepper.

Dredge the barramundi fillets in flour to coat.

In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

Add milk and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat to low and stir in 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until melted.

Arrange half of the barramundi fillets in the prepared casserole dish.
