Crispy German Banana Fritters
Delicious sweet banana fritters coated with a crispy German-style batter, perfect for a dessert or snack.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- β1 cup Milk
- β2 Large eggs
- β1 cup Granulated sugar
- β1 teaspoon Baking powder
- β1/2 teaspoon Salt
- β1/2 cup Vegetable oil
- β4 Bananasoverripe
- β1 cup Powdered sugar

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and melted butter.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Peel the bananas and slice them into 1-inch pieces.

Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat until it reaches 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Using a spoon, drop the banana pieces into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fritters from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
