Kenyan Beef Stew
A hearty and flavorful stew originating from Kenya, made with tender beef and a rich blend of spices.
Ingredients
- β1.5 pounds Chuck Roast
- β2 cups Rich Beef Broth
- β2 tablespoons Kenyan Spice Blend
- β1 large Umami-Infused Onion
- β1 large Red Bell Pepper
- β2 large Carrot
- β2 large Potato
- β2 tablespoons Tomato paste
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Sear the chuck roast until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the roast from the pot and set aside.

Add the onion to the pot and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the bell pepper and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Add the carrot and potato, and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the tomato paste, beef broth, and Kenyan Spice Blend.

Return the roast to the pot and bring to a boil.

Cover the pot and transfer to the oven.
