Pan-Seared Norwegian Salmon with Pilaf
A simple and flavorful dish featuring pan-seared Norwegian salmon served with a light and fluffy pilaf.
Ingredients
- β4 Norwegian salmon fillets6 oz each
- β1 package Light pilaf mixfollow package instructions for cooking
- β2 tablespoons Ultra light olive oilfor pan-searing
- β1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakesfor added flavor
- βto taste Pepperfor seasoning
Instructions

Rinse the salmon fillets and pat dry with paper towels.

Season the salmon with red pepper flakes and pepper.

Heat ultra light olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the salmon fillets to the skillet, skin side up (if they have skin).

Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the skin is crispy and golden brown.

Flip the salmon over and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until cooked through.

While the salmon is cooking, prepare the pilaf according to the package instructions.
