Turkish-Style Italian Kisir Wrap
A twist on traditional Italian wraps, featuring the flavors of Turkish kisir. A crunchy, savory, and slightly spicy appetizer or snack.
Ingredients
- β4-6 inches in diameter ultra whole wheat tortilla
- β1 cup turkish kisir
- β1/2 cup crumbled mozzarella cheeseoptional
- β1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- βto taste salt and pepper
- βfor garnish optional: sliced cherry tomatoes or cucumber
Instructions

Preheat a dry skillet over medium heat.

Warm the tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side.

Spread a layer of kisir on the center of the tortilla, leaving about 1 inch of space around the edges.

Add a sprinkle of crumbled mozzarella cheese on top of the kisir.

Drizzle a little olive oil over the cheese.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish with sliced cherry tomatoes or cucumber, if desired.

Fold the bottom edge of the tortilla up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll the wrap up tightly.
