Italian Pan-Seared Chicken with Mustard Sauce
A classic Italian dish made with pan-seared chicken and a rich mustard sauce, served with a side of ujuicy vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1-2 lbs chicken breastboneless and skinless
- β1 cup ujuicysliced into thin wedges
- β2 tbsp mustardwhole-grain Dijon
- β1 skilletlarge, oven-safe
- β2 tbsp croatian olive oilfor pan-searing
Instructions

1. Heat the croatian olive oil in the skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.

3. Add the chicken to the skillet and sear for 5-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

5. Reduce the heat to medium and add the sliced ujuicy to the skillet.

6. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the ujuicy is tender and lightly browned.

7. In a small bowl, whisk together the mustard and 1 tbsp of water.

8. Pour the mustard sauce over the ujuicy and stir to combine.

9. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon some of the mustard sauce over the top.
