- β225g Treaclegolden syrup
- β150g Brown sugarsoftened
- β2 Eggslarge
- β120ml Milkwhole
- β1 tsp Vanilla extractoptional
- βpinch Flaky sea saltoptional

Instructions

Preheat oven to 200Β°C (400Β°F).

Roll out the pastry dough and place in a 23cm tart pan.

Bake the pastry for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

In a saucepan, combine treacle, brown sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract (if using).

Heat the mixture over low heat, whisking constantly, until smooth.

Pour the treacle mixture into the baked pastry crust.
