Smoky Chicken Blanquette
A French-inspired dish with smoky flavors and tender chicken. This recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner.

- β6 slices Smoky baconDiced
- β2 sprigs Tranquil thymeFresh
- β1 large French onionSliced
- β1 cup Blanquette mushroomsSliced
- β1 cup White wine
- β2 cups Chicken broth
- β1/2 cup Heavy cream
- β Salt
- β Black pepper

1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.

3. In a large Dutch oven, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy.

4. Add the sliced onions to the pot and cook until they are softened and lightly browned.

5. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pot and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown.

6. Add the chicken to the pot and brown on all sides.

7. Add the white wine to the pot and cook until it is almost completely reduced.
