Smoky Korean Rice Bowl
A flavorful vegetarian bowl filled with the taste of Korea, featuring smoky tofu and crispy rice.
Ingredients
- β2 tablespoons toasted sesame oilfor drizzling
- β1 block smoked tofucubed
- β1 teaspoon korean chili flakesgochugaru
- β2 tablespoons soy saucefor marinade
- β1 cup brown ricecooked
- β1 cup green onionschopped
- β1 tablespoon toasted sesame seedsfor garnish

1. Cook the brown rice according to package instructions.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, and korean chili flakes.

3. Add cubed smoked tofu to the marinade and toss to coat.

4. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame oil over medium-high heat.

5. Add the marinated tofu and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.

6. In a separate pan, toast the sesame seeds over low heat, stirring frequently, until fragrant.

7. To assemble the bowls, place a scoop of cooked brown rice on the bottom.
