Japanese-Style Teriyaki Rice Pilaf
A flavorful and aromatic Japanese rice pilaf dish made with tender beef, russians, and toasted spices.
Ingredients
- β1 pound tender beef (sirloin)thinly sliced
- β2 cups russians (or Japanese short-grain rice)
- β1 cup pilafuncooked
- β2 tablespoons soy sauce
- β2 tablespoons sake (or dry white wine)
- β2 tablespoons sugar
- β2 tablespoons sushi vinegar
- β2 tablespoons sesame oil
- β1/4 cup green onionschopped
- β1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Heat sesame oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.
