French-Style Russian Beef Pilaf
A hearty French-inspired dish featuring tender beef, pilaf, and a hint of Russian spices.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Beef (tender)Cut into 1-inch cubes
- β1 cup Russian pilafDried pilaf mix
- β2 medium PotatoDiced
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β1 medium OnionChopped
- β2 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1 teaspoon Dried thyme
- βto taste Salt and pepper
- β2 cups Water

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the beef cubes and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic and cook until the onion is translucent.
