Ethiopian Lamb Wot
A traditional Ethiopian stew made with tender lamb and spices. This flavorful dish is a staple of Ethiopian cuisine.
Ingredients

- β1 medium onion
- β2 teaspoons garam masala
- β1 teaspoon cumin
- β1 teaspoon coriander
- β1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- β1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- β1/2 teaspoon salt
- β1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Brown the lamb on all sides, then remove it from the pot.

Add the onion to the pot and cook until softened.

Add the garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to the pot and cook for 1 minute.

Add the lamb back to the pot and add enough water to cover.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, or until the lamb is tender.
