Italian Pasta Bake
A classic Italian-inspired pasta bake made with tender pasta, wholemeal flour, and Italian spices.
Ingredients
- β250g Italian pastawholemeal or whole wheat
- β2 tablespoons Wholemeal flourfor dusting
- β250g Tender beefsliced or diced
- β2 cups Tomato saucehomemade or store-bought
- β250g Grated mozzarella cheese
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper

Preheat the oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).

Cook the Italian pasta in boiling, salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned.

Add the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.

Add the tomato sauce to the skillet and stir to combine.

Transfer the cooked pasta to a baking dish. Top with the beef and tomato sauce mixture.

Sprinkle the grated mozzarella cheese over the top of the pasta.

Dust the wholemeal flour over the cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
