Welsh Shepherd's Pie
A classic British dish featuring tender lamb and bulgur topped with a crispy mashed potato crust.
Ingredients

- β1 medium Onionchopped
- β2 medium Carrotspeeled and chopped
- β1 cup Bulgur
- β2 cups Milk
- β2 tablespoons Butter
- β2 large Mashed Potatoes

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook lamb in a large pan over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as needed.

Add onion and carrots to the pan and cook until the vegetables are tender.

Stir in bulgur and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Transfer lamb mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Make mashed potatoes by boiling diced potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender.

Drain potatoes and mash with milk, butter, and salt and pepper to taste.
