Thai Egg Rolls
A delicious Thai-inspired snack or appetizer made with crispy egg roll wrappers and a tasty filling.
Ingredients
- β12-15 wrappers Egg roll wrappers
- β1 cup shredded cabbage, 1 cup shredded carrots, 1/2 cup chopped cilantro Tasty filling (vegetables)
- β1 Eggbeaten for wrapping
- β1/4 cup Thai sauce (for serving)
Instructions

1. In a small bowl, mix together shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, and chopped cilantro.

2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg for use as an egg wash.

3. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface with one corner pointing towards you.

4. Place about 1 tablespoon of the cabbage mixture in the center of the egg roll wrapper.

5. Brush the edges of the egg roll wrapper with the beaten egg.

6. Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up the wrapper to form a tight cylinder.

7. Repeat with the remaining egg roll wrappers and filling.

8. Heat about 1-2 inches of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

9. When the oil is hot, add a few of the egg rolls to the skillet (do not overcrowd).

10. Fry until the egg rolls are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

11. Remove the egg rolls from the oil and drain on paper towels.

12. Serve the egg rolls hot with Thai sauce for dipping.
