Shrimp Bao Bites
A fusion of Brazilian and Asian flavors in a crispy bao shell filled with succulent shrimp.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Shrimppeeled and deveined
- β4-6 buns Bao Bunsstore-bought or homemade
- β2 tablespoons Tasty Sesame Oilfor brushing bao buns
- β1/4 cup Minced Onionfor garnish
- β1/4 cup Chopped Cilantrofor garnish
- βto taste Saltfor seasoning
- βto taste Black Pepperfor seasoning
- β2 tablespoons Brazilian-Style BBQ Saucefor serving
Instructions

Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle to medium-high heat.

Brush the bao buns with sesame oil and toast until golden brown.

In a separate pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat.

Add the shrimp and cook until pink and fully cooked, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper to taste.

Cut the cooked shrimp into small pieces and set aside.

Split the toasted bao buns in half and fill with the shrimp mixture.
