Tangy Jasmine Rice Pilaf
A flavorful and aromatic Middle Eastern-inspired rice pilaf with the added twist of tangy jasmine rice.
Ingredients
- ●1 cup Jasmine ricepreferably unscented
- ●1 cup Pilafpreferably saudi brand
- ●1 tablespoon Tangy rice seasoningor to taste
- ●2 tablespoons Vegetable oilfor sautéing
- ●1 medium Onionchopped
- ●2 cloves Garlicminced
- ●1/2 teaspoon Saltor to taste
- ●1/4 teaspoon Black pepperor to taste

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the onion and sauté until translucent.

Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Add the jasmine rice and pilaf to the skillet.

Stir in the tangy rice seasoning.

Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add 2 cups of water to the skillet.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the liquid has been absorbed.
