Chivito Sandwiches
A classic Uruguayan sandwich filled with steak, ham, cheese, and vegetables, served with a side of fries.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Churrasco steakthinly sliced
- β4 slices Hamthinly sliced
- β4 slices Swiss cheesesliced thinly
- β1 Green peppersliced
- β1 Onionsliced
- β1 Tomatosliced
- β2 tablespoons Mayonnaise

1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

2. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices.

3. Grill the steak for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

4. Meanwhile, toast the bread by grilling it for 1-2 minutes per side.

5. Assemble the sandwiches by spreading mayonnaise on the bottom slice of bread, then adding a slice of steak, a slice of ham, a slice of cheese, a few slices of green pepper, a few slices of onion, and a few slices of tomato.
