Tangy Indian Fritter Bites
Crunchy fritters filled with a flavorful tangy Indian-inspired mixture, perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- β1/4 cup Yogurtplain, non-fat
- β2 tsp Ginger pastestore-bought or homemade
- β1 tsp Garam masala powderstore-bought or homemade
- β1 tsp Cumin powderstore-bought or homemade
- β1/2 tsp Red chili powder
- β1 large Tomatoesdiced
- β1 cup Indian-style fritter mixstore-bought or homemade

1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, yogurt, ginger paste, garam masala powder, cumin powder, and red chili powder.

2. Add the diced tomatoes and mix well.

3. Add the Indian-style fritter mix and mix until a dough forms.

4. Divide the dough into small balls, about 1-inch diameter.

5. Heat about 2-3 inches of oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

6. When the oil is hot, add a few fritter balls to the pan (do not overcrowd).

7. Fry the fritters until they are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

8. Remove the fritters from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
