Moroccan Apple Crumble
A traditional German dessert with a twist of Moroccan spices, topped with a crunchy crumble.
Ingredients

- β2 tsp Moroccan spice blend
- β1 cup Tangy crumble toppingsee notes
- β1 sheet Flaky pastryhomemade or store-bought
- β1 tsp Citrus zestorange or lemon
- β1/4 cup Granulated sugar
- β1/4 cup All-purpose flour
- β1/4 cup Cold unsalted butter
- β1 tsp Confectioners' sugar

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Peel, core, and slice the apples.

In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, Moroccan spice blend, and granulated sugar. Mix until the apples are evenly coated.

Transfer the apple mixture to a baking dish.

Roll out the flaky pastry and cut it into strips.

Place the pastry strips on top of the apple mixture, weaving them together to form a lattice-top crust.

In a small bowl, mix together the tangy crumble topping ingredients until crumbly.

Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the pastry lattice.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the apples are tender.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Serve warm, topped with additional citrus zest if desired.
