Kurdish Ackee Crumble German Style
A twist on traditional German desserts, using the unique flavor of ackee and a crunchy crumble topping.
Ingredients
- β1 cup, drained and chopped Ackee
- β1/2 cup, granulated sugar Tangy
- β1 cup, all-purpose flour Flaky
- β1/2 cup, unsalted butter, softened Light
- β1 tsp, ground cinnamon Kurdish
- β1/2 cup, rolled oats Crumble
- β1/4 tsp, flaky sea salt Salt

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large bowl, mix together ackee, granulated sugar, flour, and cinnamon.

Transfer the mixture to a 9-inch pie dish.

In a separate bowl, mix together softened butter and rolled oats. Add flaky sea salt and mix until crumbly.

Spread the crumble mixture evenly over the ackee mixture.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is set.
