Traditional Turkish-Style Lahmacun
A classic Turkish dish, this lahmacun is topped with spiced lamb and onions, perfect as a snack or light meal.
Ingredients
- β500g Lamb mince
- β1 medium Onion
- β1/4 cup Parsley
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
- β2 tsp Turkish spice mix
- β2 tbsp Lemon juice
- β1 x 450g pack Lahmacun dough

Preheat the oven to 220Β°C.

Roll out the lahmacun dough to a thickness of about 3mm.

Spread the lamb mince evenly over the dough, leaving a 2cm border around the edges.

Sprinkle the parsley, salt, and black pepper over the lamb.

Bake the lahmacun in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

Remove the lahmacun from the oven and brush with lemon juice.

Sprinkle the Turkish spice mix over the top.

Return the lahmacun to the oven and bake for a further 2-3 minutes, or until the spices are fragrant.

Remove the lahmacun from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

Slice the lahmacun into wedges and serve hot.
