Sweet Dumplings with Flaky Crust

Ingredients

- β1 cup Sweet Dumpling FillingA mixture of sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract
- β1 package Dumpling WrappersAvailable in most Asian grocery stores or online
- β1/2 cup Granulated SugarFor dusting the dumplings before baking
- β2 EggsFor egg wash
- β1 tsp Vanilla ExtractFor flavoring the sweet dumpling filling

Roll out the flaky pastry dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

Place a tablespoon of sweet dumpling filling in the center of each dough circle.

Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape and press the edges together to seal.
