Spicy Korean Stir Fry
A quick and spicy stir fry dish inspired by Korean flavors, made with your choice of protein and crunchy vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Bulgogi beef (or chicken breast/tofu for a vegetarian option)Slice the beef into thin strips
- β2 tablespoons Sesame oil
- β1 teaspoon Spicy Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)Adjust to taste
- β1 medium Sliced onionThinly slice the onion
- β1 medium Sliced bell pepperThinly slice the bell pepper
- β1 cup Snow peasCut the snow peas into bite-sized pieces
- β1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- β1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- β2 cloves GarlicMinced garlic

Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes, until it starts to soften.

Add the sliced bell pepper and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.

Add the snow peas and cook for 1-2 minutes, until they are tender but still crisp.

Add the sliced beef (or chicken/tofu) and cook for 3-4 minutes, until it is cooked through.

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, and spicy Korean chili flakes.

Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables, and stir to coat.

Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the top of the dish and stir to combine.

Serve the spicy Korean stir fry hot, garnished with additional sesame seeds and chili flakes if desired.
