Spicy Tofu Stir Fry
A quick and easy stir fry recipe with crispy tofu, spicy kick, and crunchy vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1 block tofupressed and drained
- β1 tablespoon vegetable oilfor frying
- β1 medium onionthinly sliced
- β1 medium bell pepperthinly sliced
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β1-inch piece gingergrated
- β2 tablespoons spicy saucestore-bought or homemade
- β1 tablespoon soy sauceoptional
- βto taste salt and pepperseasoning
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, and cook until they start to soften, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for another minute, until fragrant.

Add the pressed tofu, and cook until it's golden brown and crispy, about 5-6 minutes.

Pour in the spicy sauce and soy sauce (if using), and stir everything together.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and the tofu is fully coated.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with chopped green onions and sliced chili peppers (if desired).
