Creamy Braised Chicken

- β1/4 cup spicy saucesee note
- β1/2 cup heavy creamor substitute with half-and-half or coconut cream
- β1 cup braising liquidsee note

Season the chicken with salt and pepper.

In a large Dutch oven, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat.

Sear the chicken until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.

Remove the chicken from the pot and set aside.

Add the minced garlic to the pot and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the spicy sauce to the pot and cook for 1 minute.

Add the braising liquid to the pot and bring to a simmer.
