Jamaican Shrimp Pasta
A spicy Jamaican-inspired pasta dish made with shrimp, perfect for a quick dinner.
Ingredients
- β8 oz pastalinguine or fettuccine work well
- β1 lb shrimppeeled and deveined
- β2 tbsp speedyor other spicy sauce
- β1 tsp savorydried thyme or oregano
- β1 tsp jamaicanallspice or jerk seasoning
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β2 tbsp olive oilfor sautΓ©ing
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.

Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the speedy sauce, savory, and Jamaican spices to the skillet. Stir to combine.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce.

Return the shrimp to the skillet, tossing to combine with the pasta and sauce.
